We Made It Through the Storm

The sun is shining beautifully this morning! We made it through the night ... the only thing we suffered was our electricity went off for a couple hours. The happy thing is that our neighbor has a generator that comes on automatically when the power goes off ... the lights lit up the night! Also ... Duke's kennel was lit up by the lights. I loved that. The Pups Three have eaten breakfast and are chewing their Oinkies. Duke is laying on his white, downy comforter that's been warmed by the sunshine chewing his Oinkie. Happy day! I am so happy the storms are gone ... so is my worry!

I was in North Carolina 4 or 5 days ago on a trip with my son. Glad I got out of there before the storms hit.

That's awesome that the storm was over. Was it really bad?

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, but it was 'bad'.

It was rough in our area of the state as well yesterday. We had 2 small tornado's touch down briefly about 10-15 miles from us. We had a lot of heavy rain and gusty winds. We were fortunate as it could have been a lot worse. Somehow we managed to keep our power on even with the sub station across from us sparking and blowing transformers. Have a blessed day
