Big needles and new item

Big needles and new item Many of you know I knit and bought so very large needles, they are the largest needles you can get, though. Big needles and what to do with them, after months of just looking at them not knowing what to do I saw something online two or three months ago. About a month ago I bought some lovely Alpaca Silk yarn, it's sooooo soft and light, I knew what I was going to do. As you can see from the photo it’s a blanket/throw, it a baby photographic prop blanket as you wouldn’t/shouldn’t leave a baby unattended with something like this. Photographic props are big business but I’m sure it could be used for many other things too. Here is the pattern One ball of Alpaca Silk yarn 25grams, 20 mm needles, cast on 28 stitches and knit 64 rows, cast off sew in ends. It measures 24 inches by 36 inches.

I'm more of a crochet junkie, but that looks awesome! I knitted me a hoodie last year

Thank you, that is awesome, I haven't knitted myself anything for some time, too busy with my Etsy store, one day I will do though.

Its such a pretty color and it looks very soft. I never heard of Alpaca silk yarn but it must be expensive?

Its Mulberry silk and Alpaca yarn, no it's not too expensive although there are some expensive yarns out there.

It looks really nice. Those eternity scarves would look attractive in this yarn too.
