Jillian Michaels From The Biggest Loser

Have you tried working out with one of Jillian Michael's workout programs? I did yesterday and it was hard. Her voice on The Biggest Loser made me work harder on the treadmill and burned a lot more calories, then I thought would be possible for me to do any day. She posts on Facebook and am working out and her voice still gets me moving faster like long ago. Did you watch when she was on The Biggest Loser? Have you worked out with any of her programs?

My doctor said to lose the pounds. I tried the easier ways to lose weight by eating better, walking and sleeping more. Eight glasses of water and still can't get the two pounds off and they will put me at the top of the ideal weight for me, so can lose more than 2 pounds and my doctor would be alright. I see a lot of seniors struggle to lose weight, so am aware not alone with this problem. My husband thinks I look alright the way I am now, so he thinks the doctor is putting to much pressure on weight loss.

@LadyDuck I will likely end up giving up pasta and bread. The fat and fried foods aren't eaten by me, as they left in 2010 after a trip to the hospital, so ended up changing my eating. Wish I could lose just 1 of these pounds this month. Earning money on Mylot is easier, then the two pounds.

@Fishmomma I know what to skip when I want to lose some weight. It is true that getting older it's harder to lose weight, but not impossible. I skip pasta, bread, any kind of fat and I only eat lean chicken meat, fish, vegetable and fruits. Usually I lose one pound every 2 weeks.

I don't think I ever saw a full episode of that show. I'm sure I saw snippets. I think she had some sort of yoga thing on a wii game or some such. I remember doing one workout of hers in the past. I just don't remember what medium.

She has a lot of DVD's. 30 Day Shred came out in 2008 and Beginner Shred came out in 2014. Wii Jillian Michaels Fitness Ultimatum 2010. I decided was going to have to work harder to take off the last pounds.

@Fishmomma I really should be trying to get back into exercising. Especially now as I am working less at the moment. My bed (and the tablet I am now using to write this comment) as well as my firestick have become my means of entertainment.

I'm familiar with The Biggest Loser but I'm not aware of Jillian Michael's workout programs. I guess I have something to look into later in the week.

I have lost weight in December, January and February, so working out has worked with eating better. I even lost weight eating buffets in Las Vegas, so did eat and drink a little more; however, walked everywhere. It was chilly, so hot drinks helped thaw me.

Actually I have done her workouts and I found out later that she was on the Biggest Loser. I am international so I didn't watch the show or the news about it.
Anyway, the workouts are hard and really bring results. I also liked that she had different levels for all, I was doing the beginners at first and then moved on to the more advanced positions. Then she has level 1 and level 2 on her workouts for more advanced moves.
The programs that I followed was the "six weeks 6pack abs" and the "yoga meltdown". I find her voice motivational and I actually like her style. What programs did you follow?

I have been doing the Yoga Meltdown just couldn't lose the 2 pounds. I'll see if I can find the 6 pack abs, as that is the area I would like to lose the weight. Thanks for the suggestion.

I didn't like her on the show, as she yelled a lot. On Facebook, she posts recipes, workouts and helps people to understand her workouts. She is a lot different, then on the show. I did lose a lot of weight with a slow steady pace. Now trying to take off the two stubborn pounds, so am pushing myself to reach my doctor's recommended weight.

I am having trouble losing the last pounds, so knew it was going to require working a lot harder. I'm able to run again and feel good, so just need to be patient and the pounds will come off this year.
