Eggcellent Yolk

Unbreakable

Nothing says fail more than a raw egg that wouldnt break. I was in the mood for a breakfast of scrambled egg and looking forward to it. But I had a bit of a situation. One egg did not break. The shell broke off and yet the egg was still held together by its inside sack, lining or whatever its proper name is. ( i'm not gonna google the answer, im feeling anti-knowledge for now :P) I stared at the puzzle-ized pieces of egg shell and wondered if this was to be some sort of omen for the rest of my day. I've had varied sorts of surprises at times with eggs. I once got a Dr. Seus egg, green egg, plop out onto my frying pan. Another time, I actually got a little fetus of a baby chicken in an "organic" egg (it was given to us from a family friend who raises egg laying hens). So now I wait to see what the day brings. . . stay tuned ? Picture- Taken/Owed by me, Plethos

Sometimes, an egg will freeze. Then it gets like that, it just sits there and you can't do anything with it.

It's the inner protective membrane that sometimes is very hard to break.
