As the noose tightens

Public hangings used to be entertaining and people would flock to watch someone hanged or, God forbid, lynched. But, the "tweeter in chief" is publicly hanging himself - slowly - and I admit I'm taking no small pleasure in watching.
It is sad for America that we even have to deal with this. It is sad that one being can bring out so much venom and bile in so many. But, I will take great pleasure in his downfall. Bad for him, but good for America!

I do believe people have always been and will be fascinated seeing such things happen to others. I would have such nightmares seeing someone hanged or electrocuted on the chair.

I had some hopes Trump would surprise his detractors but he's making a bigger mess than my wildest imagination could generate.
He's not making a joke out of America but he's making a joke of himself and the presidency

He's making a joke of America, too, by association. The EU is now reinstating visa requirements for people traveling from here to there because he's done the same to their citizens. Other countries mock us and wonder what is wrong with people who would elect such a buffoon.

@jerzgirl The UK is in the EU still (unfortunately) and I just checked on the government site and for tourists no visa is required if you hold a valid US passport.
What the people across the channel do is up to them
US people should just come here...they'd be very welcome
