Cats are sophisticated creatures

Cats, which belong to the feline family, get domesticated very easily. They love to live with a family, a cosy home, but on their own terms. You train a puppy and give it a particular place or bed to sleep; it would never sleep in some other place. This is not the case with cats. They are very choosy and keep changing their place of rest. My pet cat 'Snowy' chooses several places of rest, sometimes the sofa, the vacuum cleaner accessory box, carpets, door mats, a bag etc. Whenever the covers of any of these home appliances or furniture are cleaned, he chooses to sleep on them. The day I clean the sofa cover he goes and sleeps on the sofa that night. His place of rest changes the accessory box cover the day it is cleaned. Just like the human being, they want a neat and clean bed. Snowy stays inside the house but there are seven more that I feed and keep hovering around my house. They and Snowy are friends and eat from the same plate, play with each other but if any other cat, invariably the tom cats attack them, they don't get together to counter attack but run helter- skelter to protect themselves. Cats, I think are peace loving and hate commotion just as people of a sophisticated society. Cats love tasty food to bland and simple. Dairy products like butter, clarified butter (ghee), condense milk and cheese are their favourites. Snowy once refused to take adulterated milk for which we had to change our milkman. Just because I cook their fish before feeding my cats, they have started equating the aroma of fried onions with non-vegetarian dishes. Their choice of food and place of rest are as sophisticated as us. They love to eat well, play about and sleep on soft cosy beds. Sorry, I wanted to load his video but couldn't.
