Does the smell bring you memories?

I think the smell, in general, is still greatly underestimated by most people. But I think the smell has a power that many people may still don't know.
The smell of a perfume, a good meal, a different drink... Anyway, all of this may remind us of something or someone. It's as if some key in our brain were attached and these memories came to light.
The feeling (most of the time) is great, isn't it?

Yes, the aroma of certain things cooking remind me of my grandmother's kitchen. A nice memory.

So very true. Different smells bring back different memories.

It is a very important sense. It reminds you of certain things from your childhood or later life. It acts as a warning when food has gone off or something is smoking and on fire. It brings pleasure when the smell is something nice.
Smell is very important.

My nose has been stuffed because of my rhinitis many times so could not smell at times what others smell. When I can smell I like the fresh smell of perfume and deodrant and onions frying in a pan.
