Today was not so good day for me, nothing went the way it was planned to be and so had a bad mood. I always have a habit of walking home after office instead of any public transport. On the way back home I found and Identity Card fallen on the street. Hesitated but still picked it up and found out it had all the details of the owner even the contact number on it. At first I felt like why to call up if that guy was robbed and his belongings were thrown elsewhere I would come in trouble. And even the bad mood of the day was taking over the decision of what is to be done. I had walked a little bit ahead and had made up my mind to keep that Id somewhere else and let somebody else do the good deed. But don’t know what inside me could not do so, just pulled out my phone and called up the contact number mentioned. I told the owner that I had found his ID card on so and so place and to please take it back from me. He requested me to please walk back 5 minutes and there he would reach and collect it back. I again went back and waited on the spot where I had found that Id. He came with his friend on a bike with huge smiling face of satisfaction that his lost ID was found. Looking at his satisfaction I forgot my days stress and had his smiling face on my mind for the rest way home. Don’t know why but helping out someone in need and making him happy gives you a huge satisfaction that money can’t buy.

Thanks a lot for the appreciation, I just listened to my heart and the results were pleasing. Hope everyone who can find the owners to the things they find should be concerned of returning it back instead of ignoring or keeping it for themselves.

@nitirrbb7 Once my son found a wallet on a quiet street while walking to the bus stop. He saw a student ID of his university in it and was able to contact the owner through Facebook for him to retrieve his wallet.

@sishy7 Now that really needs to be appreciated, because a wallet can easily take over anybody's mind. I would appreciate you first because you have raised him up with such good qualities that he made the right decision, when anyone else could easily have got carried away.

@pradab Thank you bro. it was less then a minute of my time to help get that id back to the concerned. But that few seconds save the owner from fine and much of a trouble, we all really need to be a little generous.
