Had Fun Spending Money

And not a dime for me. Yesterday I put into practice what I have been saying in my Bible studies. An opportunity came yesterday for me to give generously.
I got an e-mail from my sister-in-law that my niece is going on a missions trip this summer and they are looking for donations. I sent her an e-mail regarding it, and also got a phone call this morning. With a couple hours of massage treatment on my back, I went to the bank and then to Wal-Mart.
For the missions trip my church is currently on, they asked for craft supplies for the kids they will minister to. For the missions trip for my niece, they want tee shirts. So after the bank I went to Wal-Mart for tee shirts and grabbed three stacks of them. I haven't checked the slip to see how many I bought, but there are four bags full of assorted sizes of white tee shirts.
I haven't felt this good about spending money in a long time and it wasn't even for me. It will feel good knowing I'm helping to clothe some kids in Peru this summer. Just like it feels good knowing I sent two large bags of craft supplies to Myanmar.
What have you done lately that made you feel real good? Thanks for reading.

It was fun and my brother and sister-in-law will be here Sunday so I can hand over the tee shirts and the money for the trip. I hope my niece will come with them. I'd like to see her face when I give her what God told me to give for this trip. I've always wanted to go on a missions trip but was never able to do so.

THis sounds great. I can't remember when I felt really good. Probably last time I had a long talk with my daughter. Making her feel better helps me to feel better too.

If one has money, one can help in such ways. And one can contribute as per his or her pocket, and not go out of the way.
I do have donated to some NGOs and do get tax rebates as well.

That's really nice thing to do. I also have fun giving and sharing to others whenever I have the money. I have cousins and sometimes they don't have money for lunch. We feed them at our house for free

@just4him After my uncle became semi-retired, he began a little pilgrimage group that started up a village in Guatamala. They went twice a year for a couple of months and within 10 years or so it was a thriving little place. They had farmers go with them to teach them what they could about agriculture, and teachers for the obvious, and engineers for assistance with getting the wells going. They really covered all of their bases.

I redid a budget and have plans on how to stick to it, once money more under where it needs to be I want to increase credit card payments, and I am going to start putting money aside to help somewhere, maybe at the animal shelter
