Sister Sledge singer Joni dies at 60

Remember Sister Sledge? You would have to had been around in the 70's or 80's which was their heyday. In 1971 Sister Sledge was formed when sisters Joni, Debbi, Kim, and Kathy formed the group and became Disco royalty. Their parents were Broadway tap dancer, Edwin Sledge and actress Florez Sledge. In 1979 they made it to the big leagues when their song "We are family" made it to the top of the charts. I have danced many times to this song and others back in the day.
No cause of death has been given but its so sad to hear of her passing at just 60 years of age. Rest in peace Joni.

I slightly remember them but I do remember their song, "We Are Family." But off hand I can't remember any other songs they sang.
