Today the weather lady said it would be at 74 around 5p. today. It's getting rather springy here. Can't believe there are only six more days of Winter. Isn't the first day of Spring on March 20th? That is going to interesting. I hope we don't flood here. The river is overflowing in some locals around the city but not to flood stage as yet. After some more Spring rain who knows.

We were lulled into a false sense of spring with some beautiful days and then today we're getting slammed with a blizzard

I'm sure it's the same for all us leaving winter behind. That doesn't mean it's really here by the though. For us in Michigan it's normally toward the end of April into May even though the early flowers start as early as March.

We have small rivers and streams around town that will flood many springs too. It shouldn't happen this year as most of the snow melted already. They do close a few roads down sometimes.

We have a river (Weiser) that seems to flood every spring regardless so this year it will just be a bit worse than normal.

@celticeagle Without a build up of snow in the area we may not get the normal flooding, except now it's supposed to rain almost every day next week. We'll see how thawed the ground is when it shows up. If it's thawed enough, there won't be the standing water we had in January.

We didn't get much fog this year. Usually do since I live down by the river.

I think we will likely not flood this year since Vermont did not get a lot of snow and that is what causes our river to overflow when it melts.

I think that is what spring is. Confusion and flipping back and forth between spring and winter.

Image says it all Winter is almost out I think about the 21st of March or thereabouts.
I don“t really mind what day it is,
I look forward to these blustery days and rain and wind as we have a very long tediously hot summer ahead.
So I am enjoying this weather whilst I can of course.
