Fugly strikes again

Fugly who calls me her beast friend is my source of all things spooky. She has this obsession to talk to the ghost/spirit/soul of her child's nanny who passed away two years ago. Hence, she's dying to have her third eye activated or something. She would send me messages in the middle of the night. Random messages about lost spirit and other supernatural stuff which would make my imagination crazy resulting to heavy eye bags in the morning.
When I mentioned to her that my new housemate is from Siquijor ( a province in the Philippines famous for black magic and 'aswang'), she's stepped over the line and unofficially became my paranormal guru. She never stopped reminding me to check the food my housemate cooks before eating or else, I'd be an 'aswang' too. She insists on video calling me to see if I have physical transformation. She's nuts but recently I found myself googling 'aswang' articles and registering to this defense against the dark online site.

@sol_cee a lot of people started to avoid me.. even some of the dogs in the neighbourhood are suspicious of me.. ahaha!!

Aswang is really a general term. Aswang is usually a shape-shifter that feeds on human flesh. The photo that you have is a mananaggal, usually a woman who's body is split in half. The upper body grows grotesque wings and flies in the night to hunt for food. The mananaggal feeds on human flesh as well but its favorite is the unborn child in a pregnant woman.

My brother-in-law too who is an adjudicator of US Embassy , when he goes to Squijor, don't ever drink a soda. It is said that the moment the soda's cap is opened, a fatal thing has already been put into the soda.
It's better to be safe than sorry, as the saying goes, my friend. So be careful.
