When my sister and I were children, my mom taught us how to make pot holders on one of those plastic weaving looms.
. But we could not understand how to tie them off.
Recently I bought one to have here in case one of my younger granddaughter's (the 5 or 6 year olds) came over. As I mentioned in a discussion earlier that my 6 year old granddaughter missed the bus because of the terrible weather. So I pulled it out and we wove (she did most of it
) now I am trying to figure out how to tie it off.
I read the directions several times and tried it and when I got around to the 3rd side they all are very loose
the other sides are very tight.
I have been working on this thing for over 2 hours!
Does anyone know? My mom forgot.

Oh this is easy to do but might be hard for me to describe. Hi start at one corner and loop it through as you go around. As you do hook the loop you drop back up and it will keep this stretched really tight. When you get to the last part time a knot and then when you take it off stretch it all I to the right shape of a square with your fingers. If you need with it for a minute that way you should get it the right shape.

Can you flip the material around and weave it back through? I would try that. Or I even thought of doing that and stitching it down. Here are two I found googling it:

Hope one of these is helpful.
Potholders are woven on potholder looms. They consist of loops of fabric that are interwoven into a square shape. Decorative potholders are made with synthetic fibers. Potholders made with 100 percent wool loopers or loops will insulate your hands and prot
