I don't know if this is happening with me or is it the scenario with everyone iPhone. I have an iPhone5 which I usually connect it to my desktop for internet connectivity. As you might know that iPhone5 silver has an metal back case, may be made of aluminum.
Now today while the phone was connected through the USB for internet connectivity as well as the charging also goes on, dual purpose. There was call and while receiving it my fingers mistakenly touched the back aluminum case and a slight amount of electric shock was felt. Being more curious and unsure if it was an electric shock or not again gave it touch and this time it was clearly felt.
Now I know there is a slight amount of electricity current flowing through the USB ports. But it should not be passing thorough the iPhone back case it could be dangerous. Now I tried and electric taster to see if the voltage was high and disastrous in the future, but there were no results. But I am dam sure that there was a stroke while I touched the back case.
Have you guys felt anything like I did or is there something wrong with my device?

Its just might be a case with some manufactured devices not with all, if you every plan to just don't avoid because of my experience.

@nitirrbb7 oh. no plans here. would never get an iPhone. I like android systems better. I have an ASUS Zenfone Laser II. - It has just as much awesomeness as a Galaxy Edge and cost me a portion of the price.
And I get to use it with my prepaid - Tracfone.. so it only costs me about $30 every 3 months.

Try googling, there are lots of people having the same problem with iphones, and the probable causes are numerous from defective unit, poor house grounding, static build up from humidity, poor quality chargers etc... Think you would have to figure it out or bring it to a qualified technician

Yes will do so asap, I guess its the phone which has the problem. Because if its the same scenario with others it certainly is the defect in the phone.

@Shavkat Yeah some of them do and most of those are not the branded ones which do not passes the safety test. Most of them are those unbranded china made. They are cheap and have OS that really does not make any sense whatsoever

Till now I did not experience a shock from my mobile. Sometimes we experience a shock from some mobile. You have to be really very careful while handling your mobile.
