In Australia at least. The next time it starts again to some states will be in October. I was disoriented upon waking up this morning, I thought I woke up too early. I forgot to set the alarm clock backwards, our 7am becomes 6am. As soon as I got my bearings back, I fixed all the manual clocks and watches back then went back to bed and slept for a couple more of hours. It's harder to resist changes for me, I found it easier to conform, specially to things that I can't change. How do you react to change? Resist? Conform? Complain? Postpone? Deny? We all react differently to changes. Photo is the dinner I had last night, frankfurters with fried rice.

I may postpone a bit - then conform.

If the change is a bit difficult, I'll be in denial.

I always look forward to Daylight Savings and having sunny evenings, so I don't mind. It is when it ends in November that it seems to get dark way too early. Then I stay home a lot more often.

Mostly I just conform. We didn't have daylight saving this year so I didn't have to do anything.

Lucky you, that's one chore you didn't have to do.

Same with New Zealand where my daughters are :) Now, they're just ahead of us by 4 hours.

I do remember, and the whole country goes into daylight saving, unlike here.

@vickyrose Oh? So it's not the whole of Australia that goes into DST together?

The time change does not bother me in the spring. I enjoy the extra sunlight. However, in the winter when the time "falls back" I have a hard time adjusting.

I have no problems when we switch back to Solar time, but I hate DST, it takes weeks to get up one hour earlier.

True! We know that it's a temporary adjustment, kind of abnormal at first, when it's finished and back to real time, we adjust again.
