That little diamond ring

While shopping with my friends in the mall today we came across this big jewellery store. There it was, displayed on a beautiful box. I couldn't stop looking at it. It was so beautiful and mesmerising.
There were two more girls standing at the same spot, stunned by the same diamond ring.
When I checked the price it was way too expensive to buy. It wasn't my birthday either. So had to just sigh and leave.
It's not at all false that they say diamonds are a women's best friend. Diamond ds have something in them that we just can't keep away from them. There is something definitely magical about them.
Now I am just waiting for my birthday to come when I can ask my husband to get me that ring.

No I get you totally. Its like different persons have different likes and dislikes. To me gold is good too but I will always give my heart to diamonds.

a diamond can cut a glasses, i learned about this from the store where we buy glass or mirrors. i also don't believe that diamonds are a woman's best friend, because if it is so, then women are materialistic.

@Blushandglow well, maybe they say that a diamond is a woman's best friend because they don't fade away or they stand the test of time? being compared to a diamond as a friend is a complimentary way to describe friendship. and as a diamond, the friend is precious.

Yeah that's true diamond can cut glass. See its totally your perspective. Obviously it's not like diamonds are your best friend kind of best friend. But yeah they can be the best thing that a woman wants. I have seen and met a very few women's who don't like diamonds. Most of us are like crazy about them.
