The Need to be the First in Line

Dr. Luther King Jr. expressed how so many are so in tuned with wanting to be first. The need to throw others to the ground in order to "climb higher" or to try and be the best. There's nothing wrong with wanting to be the best of course but some go through extreme measures in order to be the first one's in line. There are some who aren't so concerned about being in the middle and some are even last in line. There are a lot of people who are very power driven and want to be legends.
To be a legend requires more than working hard and being good at a craft. Some may not be concerned about others well being just wanting to be the top. Of course we all should try to do better and should to be good at something. The competitiveness can get out of "hand." Too may wanting to target others because of their achievements not wanting to see others excel in some way.
Competing isn't the problem it's the overly competitive ones who make the process so difficult. The ones who actually make attempts to make others better should be appreciated but there are so many who could care less about others. Just wanting to be at the top and some even get into heated debates because they're trying to decide who's better than the next. Some are simply satisfied with doing a great job and helping others "move up." The competitiveness can be a problem and we all should be careful.
When There's Little Concern With Competing With Others More can be Accomplished." By: Tanikka Paulk

For some it is win at all cost and the end usually justifies the means. Giving others a hand up along the way is best
