Good afternoon folks.Dreary day and decided to watch the movie "Jackie"
Although I have seen the news on the assassination of President Kennedy.
Natalie Portman was excellent as playing the role of Jackie.
She master her New England accent to a ti.This movie told me more about how she felt after the death of her husband.She battle through
overwhelming heartache and anger to preserve hi legacy and to define her own,
I am not a movie critic.Natalie deserve the nomination for best actress for this movie.Most of us did not know or I did not know that she planned the funeral and where he was to be rested.Many try to talk her out of things.But she did not let them get to her.Yes,this is a good movie.A bit slow but worth it.
I still cannot get over her accomplish on the accent.

We've been meaning to see this one. At first I couldn't really picture Natalie Portman as Jackie (she is a good actress except that I didn't care for her role in Star Wars) . . . but Hubby heard excellent things about her in this one.

i might very well watch it as i have everything i could on JFK and read a lot etc. its a very sad thing

This is on my list of movies to watch and now that I know it's a good one, I can't wait! I'm a huge fan of Natalie Portman and that's another reason I want to see it. I remember the assassination all too well, so it will be interesting to see how this movie views it. Thanks for the review!

I would like to see this movie as I have read Natalie Portman did an excellent job of portraying Jackie Kennedy.

It must have been absolutely terrible for the poor woman being splattered with her husbands blood and brains. Horrific!

She seemed a very caring and loving wife. Accents can be harder to master I would think.
