@IreneVincent They are actually pretty spectacular. But they stink. A lot. There are hundreds maybe even thousands of sea lions in these caves. You can get pretty close to them and see them eat and play and just swim around. It was really cool, the last time I went there were baby sea lions. Ill try to find the pictures and make a post about it.

@thislittlepennyearns I hope you can find some photos. I just can't imagine what those caves would be like with all those sea lions. I'm sure the babies are cute.

Did you read what @thislittlepennyearns had to say about the sea lion caves. "The caves stink" and there may be thousands of sea lions there. It would still be worth seeing, I think, but be prepared.

Good. I'm glad you learned something new. I want to know more about the zoo, so I'm going to see if I can find out where exactly it is and if its still in operation.

@IreneVincent they are the largest North American swallow. How big for a tiny bird, I don't know.

My son and I were having a similar conversation last night. He had been talking to an online friend and they were debating whose current town had the best things to do. His friend, who lives in Cleveland, Ohio claimed there was nothing there, and my son was quick to ask how the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum, Cleveland Clinic, and FirstEnergy Stadium were nothing. My son has never been to Cleveland. Roanoke, Virginia has a star entry onto the Blue Ridge Parkway, and it's less than an hour from Virginia Tech.

I guess Texas Rangers perform a wider range of duties now than when they first set about bringing law and order to the State
