Twin Earthquake April 8, 2017

The earth shook again.
That moment when everyone in the office is busy closing tickets to assist customers with their respective requests. It was around 3 PM yesterday when we felt the building was moving. We're at the 6th floor. It was not someone running on the floor that caused the sudden shaking. It was earthquake.
We were asking each other what to do. "It's getting stronger" said the pregnant colleague. "Let's go out of the building" said the other. "No one use the elevator please" said my other colleague.
We stayed on our stations. Others stood up to check what was going on outside. Seemed people did not notice the sudden shake.
I can't recall how long it took, but it was around a minute or more. I felt like I was on a hammock.
Philvocs called it the twin earthquake. There were two instances yesterday with an interval of two minutes. We thought the first one was over. After two minutes, we felt the sudden shake again.
It was around 3-4 intensity within my office. The epicenter was in Batangas again with a 5.7 and 5.9 magnitudes.

I heard and seen about the earthquake in Batangas, on the television. It even showed the old church, affected by it . Some of the stones or cement fall of from the church. But the devotees are not deterred, they still continued after that flocking to the church.
What place are you in , that you also had the earthquake although it's a bit weaker?

@jobelbojel The shakes go on for very long time, but they usually decrease in intensity.

We are very thankful that it wasn't as strong as the 5.7 and 5.9 in other province.

I have had few experiences in past. It's damn freaky. No loss of life and property at the end that matters

Earthquakes are so frightening. No one enjoys those and we just have no control when one happens.

glad that you are okay.
