Cutting down my online time

I found that my life has been quite messy for quite some time, though I have got something done, it's not what I really wanted yet. I did realize I have spent too much time online, though most are for making money online, my husband finally reminded me about it, as it is not worth doing so, and I know it's time to make a change.
I have started to spend lesser time online since a week ago, and I felt good. I am planning out my work and decluttering my stuff (and my mind) slowly, but I am glad that I am calmer and less stressful now.
I would not like to give up my online earnings totally, it's not merely for making some extra money, but also for pleasure, I have to schedule a short period to these online sites. Mylot is the site I would not want to miss.
Have you found yourself staying online for too long?

Sometimes we are drawn in and suddenly you've been here much longer than intended. I try to limit my time...I have other things that need my attention.

I agree with you. When you are online, you just simply didn't realize how much time had been wasted that almost half of the day had passed by. I used to hang online for 7 hours daily until my face started to pop up problems and I had lost weight. Then, coincidentally, my son was in morning school, I had forced myself to change my bad routine. Now I spend around 2-3 hours daily.

Yes, I struggle with online toxicity quite often. I'm thankful that we had this Holy Week. I stayed away from the Internet for 2 days and it proved beneficial to me and to my family.

One of the main reasons why I do not have a FB account... some of these social media sites are time-suckers.

I am retired and disabled. I don't know what I would do without the internet and cable. Hope you are feeling better and can be on here the amount of time that makes you feel good.

I am online too long most days but I've been cutting down a bit lately.
