When you reply to old discussions in mylot, does it add to your mylot earnings? For example if a discussion is 2-4 years old.I am just curious.

If the person who wrote the discussion gets back to you, yes you get paid for an interaction. You are not paid for anything you do in mylot unless somebody interacted with you.

That is incorrect You do get paid for responding to a discussion even if the author doesn't reply it's not a lot by any means, but you do earn

@workathomefan Nope. That person who started it will be paid, but not unless that person interacts with you, you get nothing for your action.

I think you will be paid because they started the discussion not you.

NO! Nothing YOU do here is worth anything at all unless SOMEONE ELSE interacts with it. Interacting with someone else's discussion increases THEIR earnings, not yours, UNLESS someone subsequetly interacts with what you post.

Yes it does. Any discussion you respond to it earns you a little bit of money old or new.

No! That is NOT correct. Nothing YOU do here earns you anything at all if nobody interacts with what you post.

Everyone else answered the question. You should make sure an old post belongs to an active member before you reply.

I sometimes respond to people who aren't active anymore since I figure, if nothing else, even I will never earn a cent from it, at least in some weird way I am contributing to myLot's coffers, and I guess that helps in one way or another. Plus, MAYBE it triggers a sudden PayPal payout and suddenly an older member sees a myLot payment and remembers they have an account, and they come back to the site. MAYBE. I know YOU won't be coming back, sir. But maybe your heirs will want the next $5 you earn? lol

Yes. If someone responds to you, you get paid. You don't get paid for leaving the comment. But you do get paid if they interact with it with a like or a comment back.
