I am a little worried about the checkup and this is why I don't want to have it often. Last time I had the checkup may be three years ago. I think it is OK for me because I feel well. If I was ever found out something wrong, I might feel worse.

I only go when I am sick and I can't cure myself. Since I don't have insurance it is very expensive to go. The last time I was at the doctor was for my breathing difficulties--I quit smoking and now have trouble breathing. She could not help me much without costly tests so gave me some medicine and an inhaler prescription. I never go just for a checkup.
I'm happy that your parents are in good health!

I very rarely go to the hospital, unless I have to go. I usually get common cold a lot and it has now become a part of my life, like a friend. I treat it at home. So there is no need for me to go to the doctor always. It is good to have annual check up, but we only remember the hospitals when we are sick. i think I must make it a habit to have regular checkups, atleast yearly once. It helps us to know our body well and good.

My doctor likes to see me at least once a month or if in need of seeing him before then I hopefully make an appointment.
