January 3rd, 2016 Night time is one of the best times for me because I love looking at the night sky when it is full of stars. They shine so brightly and they can lead the way to any destination you choose in my opinion. I love just sitting there and watching the stars but tonight I am thinking about my family and how I can find them. I decided that when the sun comes out I am leaving the house in order to see what supplies I can find and if I can get any word on my parents. They went on a Honeymoon in Vegas so if I go that far maybe they are still there hiding or they could be on their way back to find me. I don't know what to do but my decision is now made up and I have to leave to find myself some water and more supplies. I am going to try and see if I can get to Vegas in order to find my mom and dad. If I can't find them then I will come back home and just look out for myself. The sun came up but it hid behind the clouds like a coward. I took my bow and arrow with me so that I could find a few supplies and some water. I took my dads gun with me just in case I needed it for big issues such as large animals or even troubled people. I unlocked my door and stood there for a minute. My heart was beating really fast and I started to sweat a little bit but I made it outside and I locked the door behind me. I walked along a narrow dirt road towards the wooded area close to my house where my dad and I went fishing. I decided to take my supplies and make some purified water from the lake and that is when I saw it. I didn't know what it was but it was walking slowly towards me trying to attack me so I moved out of the way and ran. I ran as fast as I could and then I saw an arrow hit it right on the head. I stopped and looked around to see where the arrow came from. He came out from the trees with blonde hair and pretty blue eyes. He came up to me and gave me a cute smile while he pulled the arrow from that things head. " I take it you haven't been out here for long. These are called walkers it's when someone gets bit by one and they turn into one or even die and turn into this. You have to make sure that you hit it in the head so it won't come back. I hope that you have all this down." I smiled and nodded my head in agreement. I was looking at his pretty face more than anything but I snapped back into reality so that I could get myself some water and more supplies. He gave me his name and asked me if I had a safe place to stay. I didn't disclose my information but I told him that I would be fine. I knew nothing about this boy named Mark so I kept my mouth closed and eyes open. I decided to go back to the house and leave back out again the next day on the hunt for my parents.
