ESPN employees layoffs to begin on Wednesday

Due to the loss of subscribers to the Disney owned sports network ESPN and the fact that the network paid a high price to televise major sports events like the National Basketball Association games and National Football League games. A lot of the on air personalities will be either accepting pay cuts to remain employed by ESPN or they will be free to work for another television network including the online reporters. I hate to tell them "I told you so" but the majority of sports fans were turned off by their liberal spin on the sports events. Maybe this latest setback will force ESPN to move to the center but I am not holding my breath.

I agree with you. Chris Berman is no longer working on the Sunday broadcasting team this year.

@Deepizzaguy His way of saying things has long ago lost it's appeal. Give it a rest Chris Berman.

The political attitude is across the boards with all Disney owned channels not just ESPN.

I have noticed that and now Disney is paying the price for their insolence.

Probably work for one of the alphabet soup networks like NBC, CBS or Fox.
