Slightly Superstitious After All...

I thought I was not superstitious. Till I spoke to a friend this morning and the thought "oh well, that's the third thing" popped into my mind.
Then I thought "huh, since when do I think like that?" I don't really believe in that, that things happen in three stuff, or that walking under a ladder stuff or even that black cat stuff.
But when I heard of a third thing that happened to my friend then that thought popped into my head, so I must be slightly superstitious after all, it seems...
Are you at all superstitious?
Photo taken by me, it looks, woo woo

I like to think that I am not.
But then I find out I am in a way but through what you are taught to believe really.

Yes, things you hear when are small are still there in your mind years later and you don´t realize it till they appear in your head.

I have never been superstitious because I've proven them untrue so many times. But indeed there were times that some circumstances led us to think that a certain superstition could be true. However, my faith always rules. I know that nothing is done outside of God’s sovereign control. Nothing happens by chance, or by magical power of anything..He causes or allows everything in accordance with His divine plan.

I am not superstitious at all, but my wife is . . In fact, she is very superstitious. Example: She believes that If one sneezes while getting out of the house, he/she would meet an accident outside.

NO! But my family is and it makes me crazy. I have to respect their beliefs even though I am against it.
I was not able to try on my wedding gown when I bought it. My mom insisted that It would bring bad luck to the point that the wedding would not push through. So, she was the one who tried it on. I was so devastated that my wedding gown was a bit small on me. I felt like it did not look good on me. I did not feel the most beautiful on my big day.
Not only that, my aunts asked me to remove my earrings because they were pearls. That pair was bought by my husband few days before our wedding, he expected me to be wearing them on the big day. While the priest was preparing the Chalice in the middle of the wedding ceremony, my hubby asked in a whisper " why aren't you wearing the earring i bought?" He was disappointed.
Since then, I vowed no matter what, I would not let anyone force me to follow superstitions.

@Iam_jauntyjen , oh no, that was a bit much to cause you to be stuck between respecting them and going against your wishes for the day. Definitely do what you feel comfortable with.

some superstitions should be taken seriously, especially those bad omens like the black butterfly, black cat crossing your way, and seeing a person without a head. i do not wish to have these superstitions.
and they usually come in three's.

@ridingbet , I would freak out! That would be too much to comprehend. I never want to see something like that!

@ridingbet , I am usually not the superstitious type. I wouldn't want to see a person without a head either

@bluesa the post of a doctor without a head was in the FB. i am not so sure if this happened here in my country or in other countries. maybe those who have peripheral vision can see these things.

Thats a beautiful misty morning. It adds an intrigue to the photo. I wonder what is hidden behind the mist! Careful it is horrible to drive in.

@FayeHazel , I should've been more specific. I was just shocked by these thoughts that had popped into my head. How are you superstitious?
