Server Runtime Error? What--am I back on Bubblews?

Have you ever seen such a message on MyLot? Snap, I just lost a longish post! I hope it's a one time thing. (A day later: it appears the glitch affected only pictures. For me, things have cleared up. I can post pictures.)

Have you done a post with a picture lately? It appears to be tied in with trying to attach a picture.

You said the B word . I know I've gotten some kind of server error "thingie" here, just can't remember what. But the good thing is I always know myLot comes back to its regularly scheduled program soon enough - always! Ugh about losing the post - that for sure has happened to me!

@TheHorse Well good it came back from wherever it went! Another photo glitch . . .that seems to have happened several times in the past few months. But for myself personally, I don't notice because I rarely post photos .

The post actually resurfaced, but without the picture that was the basis of the post. Kind of ironic. Maybe I should climb back into bed.

@much2say All of my posts involved photos--usually my own. If I can't post photos, I'm...lost!

This used to be rampant a month or so ago but now all is well as far as I am concerned.

I think I missed it a month ago. It hit me yesterday only.

So you are another who does not write the text offline before posting. You should, so you do not lose them in case of problems. Another user is complaining about errors.

@TheHorse I have seen the photo posted. This morning I already had an error message two times while trying to post a comment.

For me, it's fixed now. And I went ahead and added my balcony photo to the post that almost never was. In this case, it actually posted the post, but without the picture. I couldn't tell that from the error message.

Photo uploading glitch, it seems... @GoAskAlice @mylotbugs @owlwings @JolietJake : Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off". Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

@TheHorse I had a screenshot with the acrid yellow surround, but... Reducing its size left it with baby-poop brown text at the top, but it loaded Yaay?!

Yeppers, that's what I saw. Except with baby poop yellow around it. Thanks for notifying the powers that be. I hope they leave this post up so I can add my new crying nekkid baby picture when they fix the bug.

It happened to me a short time ago - the message saying runtime error. My article appeared without the picture and I remembered the same thing happened a month or two ago. Then I was able to download the picture after cropping it.

Yes, I posted my second (this one, the whiny one) without a picture and was going to add another of my crying baby pictures. It was then that I realized that the picture was the issue, and that my other post had actually posted. I'll just leave both posts up and add the appropriate pictures when the bug is fixed. Neither of them are large files.

I have seen it recently. I tried to post a picture with my response to a post, but it didn't happen. I'm glad it got cleared up.
