No Room, No Problem

Finally, I'm back from my vacation. I am happy I was able to join my friend's workmates.
We had a great time in Maniwaya, Marinduque. The travel was quite long. The van (land) travel is 4 hours and an hour boat ride.
The land travel was boring because we traveled at 3 AM. But the boat ride was thrilling. I have seen couple of flying fishes. They were small so I missed to get a photo of it.
When we arrived at the island, it was amazing that tents were all set up except ours. They were setting them up. When the organizer booked the trip, he knew that we won't be having a room. We were okay with the tent. I joined to stay away from the busy street of Manila. It was fun.
The only thing I hated was the heat inside the tent. The others laid down on the shore until 3 AM.
Did you go camping and used tent? How was it?
Photo is mine. Taken using my actiom camera.

In my 36 years of existence, i've never gone camping lol. I always think it's quite exciting but I just never had a chance or none has ever invited me to go camping.

@jobelbojel i'm the opposite. when we were young and slept overnight near a river, i couldn't sleep because it reminds me of a running faucet!

Won't try sleeping in a tent. I'd rather stay outside or sleep by the shore. But I like the sound of the waves.

I'm gone to numerous camping trips using a tent and yes, the heat can be a problem. Didn't you guys brought a portable fan?

The tent wasn't in the plan. Too bad the leader of the group I joined did not inform us about the room availability.

It was a memorable and awesome experience. I was able to climb the highest mountain in Mindanao, the Mt. Apo then hiking from the island of Samal down to the Paradise called Canibad. River trekking and go camping near a falls. Super miss that experience.

I never went camping in a tent. I am sure it must have been so fun for you. I remember the last time we went.at the beach. It was night time and we were lying on the beach and watching the stars and we could here the waves splashing. How great that was

i think it's because in a tent there's no ventilation.
how many days were you there? what other activities do they offer? how's the food?

@hereandthere we went to Ungab island, famous for the rock formation and we also went to Palad Sandbar. Unfortunately, the sandbar did not show up because it's high tide. According to the Maniwaya people, the sandbar is not showing up since April. Too bad we did not see the sandbar in the middle of the ocean. But we were able to swim in the middle of the ocean which is waist-deep.

I bought a camouflage but did not use it because the owner of the beach resort provided the tent.

Yes I have used a tent before when I was young and we went on camping trips.
It was okay just a bit uncomfortable at times but no big deal.
Yes the heat in the tent was too much huh.
Good this is a lovely place you went to.
