Marsha's Log: Now I Have a Pretty Peach

Today I went out and found a pretty peach colored Iris bloomed.
I know this is one of the bulbs that I dug up from someone's yard a few years back. She had them listed on freecycle. I took several bulbs that she said were peach and blue.
This is the first year for one to bloom. I'm pretty sure the other one that is bloomed by it (not in the picture) is what she was calling blue, so maybe 2 finally bloomed from that lady.
Oh how I love my Irises and I wish they stayed bloomed all Spring and Summer, not just for such a short time.

My daughter bought me Marigolds for my birthday. She told the kids they were my favorite. I did put them in the hanging pot on the front porch.

My favourites are peonies - but my Irises are late this year but should be coming soon.

@marsha32 They should be in full bloom about now. People try to save them for Memorial Day.

I do not know that I have a favorite flower, but these irises certainly are pretty. I think this is especially pretty set off by your purple larkspur. I would love to have an entire yard full of that.

I love bearded Irises. They're my favorite flower. Unfortunately mine haven't done well since we moved. I don't think they get enough sun where I planted them. If I get time I'll dig them up and move them this fall. I have a couple of peach colored ones, but my favorite are the dark purple.

Mine I think have to be nasturtiums and I'm going to have zillions this year if they all behave! :)
