I knew it would come back and there was a bidding war, as several networks wanted to bring back the show. I was surprised when the FOX Network lost the bid, so show moves to ABC Network. There will be changes to the show that will be announced soon.
I watched the early seasons with Simon and Randy and some of the winners did well. We even saw a second place singer go on to do a lot better, then the person that won.
Will you watch the show? Who would you like to see as a judge and to host the show?

I watch it too, I don't remember the names but yes I love to watch those special talents. Simon is awesome, he made so many singing superstars living a good life out there. He is good in finding talent in others. I will definitely watch it. It doesn't matter to me where the show shifted because I love that show. :)

I really liked Simon on the show. It will be interesting to see who is judging, as Simon has been judging in another country. There are many people that would do a good job. Its great to know people get a chance to be heard and get a record deal.

@_ge_ez_ Rita Ora hosted the last season of America's Next Top Model on VH1. The next season I think she will be a judge on America's Next Top Model. She certainly would have been a great choice to bring in a younger audience.

I have heard that NBC wanted it and to alternate seasons with the Voice. I've heard they want to keep Ryan Seacrest, since he's the new co-host with Live with Kelly. I probably won't watch it, unless they reboot my soaps. According to the Insider, they might want to get former Idols like Kelly Clarkson as a judge. Not sure on the host.

I think Ryan might end up back on the show, as he said he would be willing to fly for a live show each week. We will see, if that ends up happening soon. A previous winner as a judge sounds like a good idea.

@KristenH I don't either; however, they have stated there will be changes. A guest host could mean good ratings, if they get the right people. There are a lot of talented singers that might only be available for one week.

I agree with Nigel Lythgoe it was to soon. There aren't enough big singing stars to bring one back when two have already signed to be on The Voice. Kelly Clarkson signed with NBC.

@Fishmomma I'm with you. Good for Kelly. I know next season it would be Miley and Jennifer Hudson with Blake and Adam. Gwen and Alicia has a season off. But last night, Gwen's team didn't make the final 4. So maybe Alicia would win like Christina did a few seasons ago.

I knew it wouldnt be the end with how Ryan said bye for now or whatever at the last finale. Just been waiting for them to announce it, which i saw them do earlier today on twitter. Dont think Ryan will be hosting this time though. Which sucks. Because its not going to be American Idol without him

I think Ryan will be back, if the show is Sunday, as he said flying back and forth wouldn't be a problem. We will know soon, as don't know what his contract states he can do when doing Live With Kelly and Ryan in the morning.

I am not sure I'll be watching, as depends on when and who is on. Right now, I'm hearing Sunday Night, but that is a rumor, so anything can happen.
