Palan-ah Falls is situated between two barangays in Tinglayan, Kalinga Philippines: Tulgao West and Dananao. The motorbike’s trip from the Poblacion will be the only available to see the hidden falls of the local tribes. Once passed through Tulgao East, the travelers can walk through the Tulgao West village. The Palan-ah Falls is not visited by many of the Filipinos. It is also a good way to be aware that this falls exist in the middle of the mountain. There is also a hot spring near the falls. The tourists can have the time for picnics and local tribes can be accommodating in this place. Image Credit: Shavkat

take care there you might fall in hanging bridge. That is so pristine, you always feel closer nature when you are in that kind of place. Such a wonderful world we have.

The hanging bridge is quite small in width. We just need to hold the wires tight.

@Shavkat Why don't locals go there? Is it just a tourist spot?

The place is not that quite safe. There are some notions that the local tribes are headhunters. It was written in the history.

@Hannihar Some adventurous people don't mind about it. For me, it is better not to visit the place.

@Shavkat I see. So, doesn't anyone tell tourists it is not safe to go there or do they not listen?
