Elementary Renewed For Season 6

Elementary renewed for Season 6 and all the United States fans should thank the international viewers, as that is the reason the show makes money for CBS. I'm glad to see the network looks to all viewers to decide renewals. This is great news to see the show get a renewal and it airs in the worst time spot in the United States. Somebody has to take that spot and I expect it to air in that spot in the future.

I looked only last month and there was no news.
I was pretty sure it was going to be cancelled after s5 so this is very good news I'm pretty happy

@Fishmomma thats good. But does he watch football on sundays too to where these would get in the way of it or vice versa?

@Courtlynn My husband doesn't watch sports at all. People always ask my husband, if he would like to join them to play basketball and my husband doesn't like the sport at all.

I was shocked they were renewed, but impressed. When they cancelled 2 Broke Girls I thought Elementary would go since 2 Broke Girls does well in syndication, and this was the first year the shows ratings were significantly lower. Poor Elementary always seems to be on the bubble.

2 Broke Girls isn't owned by CBS. I hope we stop seeing shows on networks that don't own them, after so many were canceled this year. Elementary had a contract with show runner and syndication for the year, so this really was a smart move. Also the save our show Elementary was in second place, so older viewers voted a lot.

I watched the first season, then schedule conflicts occurred for me. I might try watching the episodes this summer, as do enjoy watching television with my husband. We watch Dr Who together.

Other shows have been renewed solely because of foreign sales and needing x amount of episodes. Elementary should play well in the rerun market.

Elementary already has the number of episodes needed and airs repeats on WGN America. I'm glad to see the show get a renewal when so many others have been canceled in that time slot.
