Breakfast is over and now, while Leticia is preparing another coffee so we can talk together about what we´ll do today, I mylot.
I am beginning to write down what I need to prepare for my birthday party. It will be in 20 days or so, but I will prepare everything for over 25 people.
Today we checked the recipe for the main dish and I wrote down what I will buy at the supermarket and what I will buy at the farmers market.
Do you have people over for birthdays? I know that in the US there are big family gatherings for Thanksgiving and sometimes for Christmas. What do you do?

Good morning, actually it's 11:25 pm here. I usually celebrate my birthday with a small group of very close friends. The only times I remember having big celebrations during my birthday was when I was growing up and when I entered politics in the 90s, after that it was always simple or I did not celebrate at all.

We don´t have Thanksgiving in my country. But besides my birthday, there´s always a Christmas gathering at my youngest daughter´s house.

We did a special meal today for my birthday, but we didn't do a lot of hullabaloo.
