When Parents follow children’s FB

Hello dear friends, That was an interesting turn today when I got a screenshot. The son wrote in his FB, 'love is a festival and festivals may end up quickly'. His father replied there, 'Wind up all those before opening the school'. The boy is studying in 12th standard now. I too check my son’s fb (he is 15 years old) without his knowledge (occasionally). But yesterday I did it infront of him as one of my cousin’s daughter saying ‘hi’ and asking about me, but he didn’t replied to her as he could not recognize her. Then I introduced her. Do you follow any one’s FB or get followed by any one?

If they are teenagers then monitoring the account is a good thing. There has been many mishaps happening to teenagers due to facebook

@Nawsheen indeed it is important that parents keep track of kids' activities. I know that if the kids come to know that they are being watched might hurt their ego a bit, but at least it will ensure that the kids do not fall prey to bad ways.

I'm glad my mom don't have fb account. My aunt (her sister) have one and been giving weird or awkward comments to my posts. Sometimes I have no idea how to reply back.

I too don't have an FB but I check it in his fb alone. I think I am doing the right thing since he is only 15 years old. But grown ups need their own freedom.

If she works? Then she must be responsible enough to look after by her own.

@Sreekala She's having her residency at the hospital that gave her full scholarship for medicine. She will be specializing in Gen. Surgery, with Oncology as specialization. She's now on her own since she's given a high allowance. Of course she can already look after her own, but still we like to see what's she's posting , for us to be updated .

Yes, I laughed on watching how the boy caught up by his father. I know both of them personally.
