Do YOU get up during the night to go to the refrigerator to get a snack?

Fortunately I don't have that problem, I eat well at dinner and I'm a heavy sleeper so hardly ever wake up at nigh!

I'm just like the two of you in that when I go to sleep it's because I am tired and want to rest, not be getting up during the night for any reason. I am also a heavy sleeper, but I don't eat very much, if any, at dinner. This way I can sleep more soundly. Thanks

Chips? That's it, what about something to drink? You have to wash down the chips. I guess chips aren't too heavy a snack, right? Thanks for your response

I agree with you in that it is a good thing that you don't get up to snack during the night. I don't like to get up either. When I go to sleep, I sleeeeeep and don't get up until morning. Thanks

Yes! Here's what I get out: NIBBLE MIX (make in advance for NOW healthy snacking) 6 c. bite-size shredded corn squares (2 c. each of corn cereal, rice cereal & wheat cereal - CHEX) 3 c. thin pretzel sticks 1 (3 oz.) chow mein noodles 1 can mixed nuts (optional) 1/2 c. melted butter 3/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp. Ranch dressing (dry) Put the first 4 ingredients in a large cake pan or baking dish and bake at 350 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven, pour melted butter over the mix. Sprinkle with cheese and dry seasoning. Mix well. Return to oven and heat for 15 to 20 minutes. Makes 12 cups. Store in a plastic or glass container with a tight fitting lid in refrigerator when not useing. If desired warm, heat in microwave for 10 seconds on HIGH.

Even though I don't like to get up during the night, especially to snack, BUT let me tell you, this mix (recipe) looks good. I will try it for when I am awake, during the day. Thanks and here is a "br"

I can't ever remember doing that. I hear people talk about it, but in never made much sense to me. If I did that, I know I would most likely be up for the rest of the night. Besides, eating will make it even harder to fall back asleep.

I would probably have the same problem (falling back to sleep) if I got up and snacked during the night. Thanks

I don't. My husband does though. We have to keep dunkin donuts or cake and milk for his 3 am rendevouz. The next day he always says, ohh I shouldn't have eaten that!!!
