What Were You Doing In The 1950s? Some of you weren’t even born way back then. But, for those of you who were teenagers in the 1950s you might really enjoy this link. https://biggeekdad.com/2013/01/the-best-of-times/ I was a teenager back then and I remember all these songs and everything else that you will see in these clips. In fact, I still sing a lot of these songs at karaoke. Do you like music from the 50’s? Then, you will love this link.

I was 12 when my father took me to the cinema to see Jailhouse Rock. Then and there I fell in love with Elvis.

YES, everyone fell in love with Elvis. I still have magnets on my refrigerator of him and a collection of all of his movies. Unfortunately some all not in a modern media form, so I guess I should get rid of them as I have nothing to play them on anymore.

@IreneVincent You can do it in youtube. All the songs are there and even some of his concerts. I still have the vinyls anyway.

@marguicha That's right! Everything is YouTube, I guess. I do have lots of CDs from that era also. I'm going to get them out and play them on my karaoke machine. I don't have a CD player anymore either.

I was born in the 40s. Loved to dance. In fact, I met my husband on the dance floor at a Private Club. That was 60 years ago.

Four of my children were born in the 60s. My youngest son was born in the 70s. They grew up listening to MY music though. But, they have their own music that they like also.

YES, I love the 50s. Love the music and did you watch the video? All the young men in suits and ties. Not like today at all. And the cars? Classic. My husband to be had a 57 Chevy Belair, two tone green.
