New Species - The Musical Pine Tree -
Several days ago I posted a photo showing trumpet vine flowers - the flowers that look a whole lot like the musical kind of trumpet,
Today, as I took my daily tour of the country-side development, the little electric scooter brought me past the tree on which that trumpet vine was climbing. When I stopped there for a moment of two, it seemed as though I could hear music coming from the vine, When I looked up at the vine, there was something much like a real concert going forth - musical flowers of huge size, birds and bugs dancing away to the melody, and, there in my hands was that old digital camera.
Well, there was nothing else to do other than to snap a photograph so as to memorialize this musical experience here on Memorial Day - which indeed today happened to be.
Home again and at the computer, the decision was made to render that new photo of the trumpet flowers into an "oil painting" - sort of honoring one kind of art (music) with another kind (oil painting). Lucky I am to have a computer program ( "FotoSketcher" ) that can do that sort of rendering for me. But for that, all I could offer here would be a regular sort of photo image.
