Busy Day

This morning I had a doctor's appointment to check on medication. I'm down another medication - this one for blood pressure. I was hoping to get rid of that one since I've been normal for the past six months at least. I do need to take non prescription strength Vitamin D and Iron, so I did finally order those online when I got home. I also talked to him about getting X-rays of my knees to find out about my arthritis since my knees have been very painful for quite some time. I hadn't had X-rays done since before my previous doctor retired and that was a while ago and she said there was knee replacement in my future, and I'm wondering if the future has caught up with my knees.
My daughter texted me this morning to let me know the city had turned their water off, but it was only to be for a short time, and wanted to know when I would be over to do laundry. I didn't know I was doing it today. I thought it would be tomorrow, but hey, I'll roll with it, especially since this is the day my daughter works from home. So I sent a FB message to my son and told him I would pick up his laundry about 1. I called him again when I got out of the hospital to let him know I would be there by 2 instead, and called my daughter and the water was back on.
I was home for all of 20 minutes while I got my laundry ready, ordered my supplements and with perfect timing UPS showed up today with my new sewing machine. I'll be unpacking that later and looking through the instructions and the DVD that comes with it. Then I went to get my son's laundry and head over to my daughter's.
It was a very good day with her. We talked while she worked. I'll be going over to her place next Thursday to teach her how to sew and do laundry.
I did stop by my son's on the way home to deliver his laundry to him, but no answer , so I came home after four tries, and called him when I got home and still no answer. He'll call me or simply stop over to get his laundry.
That has been my day. How was your day? Thanks for reading.

We had an appointment with a lawyer this morning to do some planning, then we visited my mom, went to exercise class and had late lunch with my brother. Now we are just chilling out watching NCIS.

Busy day for you! Nice that you can bring your laundry to your daughter's home.
I am at the point where I am thinking of bringing our laundry to town to at least dry it. So tired of hanging it on a rack to dry. Now that the heat is running only a few times a day, the clothes take a lot longer to dry.

@just4him I have to get permission from the landlord to put up a clothesline. Seems to be a reasonable request, but she can say no.

I would like to get rid of some of my medicines, too. I did get rid of one, and it seems that I need it back. My Vit D is at 13 which is very low. They put me on 51,000 in one pill for the week, and it was an overdose. This was a few months ago, but that was awful. It was Vit D3 which goes into your system faster.

@MsBooklover Mine was a once a week 50K unit Vitamin D gel tab. I was taking that for a couple years. My labs finally showed I had enough D in my system to go down to a non prescription tablet.

@just4him It should be OK. Mine was Vit D3 51,000 units at one time because it is so low.
