Where's Abby - Day 2

I told you about how unlucky our first day of vacation went....let me just fill you in on the evening - the bed is probably the most comfortable bed we've experienced in a rental. Nice sheets that fit well and are soft to the touch! A great way to end the day.
Now onto this morning....there is a bakery that makes very good bagels about 30 minutes from here in Young Harris, GA. They open at 7:00. I called at 8:00 to ask if they had any plain bagels and the woman said, 'just one'...hum...they did have a few 'everything bagels' but that's not what we want. So I asked if I could place an order for tomorrow morning. She took my order and name so hopefully when we show up the order will be ready.
Once we got the dog feed and walked (and picked up after) we went for a ride and I did manage to get two 'almost bagels' from a different shop...they are bagel shape, have decent flavor but they aren't NY Style Bagels...but when in Rome....or when in Murphy, NC!
Later we will be heading into town to check out a few shops before dinner. It's only 64 right now up here on the top of the mountain! Sweater weather but it will warm up for sure.

This bed is almost as comfy as out sleep number bed! We've stayed in cabins where I would prefer to sleep on the floor the beds were so bad.

I remember looking out over Hog Back Mountain also and this photo reminds me of it.

@AbbyGreenhill It's a lot cooler in the mountains. We usually go up on Sundays to have lunch in Summer, it's nice to eat outdoor under the trees.

It's always cooler in the mountains. But heading in to town I know it will be hot and muggy. But we'll be in A/C so not a problem. We are here for indoor activities!

@andriaperry I grew up eating different things than you did. Some 'southern' things I like but others not so much. If you moved away from the south and couldn't get something you love you would understand what we go thru.

@AbbyGreenhill LOL, I know. But talking to you about it is okay, we seem to NOT get offended when we voice our opinions on food and other stuff.
