“Will you survive using a bamboo in the forest?”

When I was hiking with my colleagues and inspected some community projects, we were able to try zipping the water from the bamboo trunks. I thought it is not possible. I think if we are stranded in the forest, we can use bamboo in surviving for a day or two. We can have some wild fruits on trees or on the ground like wild berries.
At some instances, if we are planning to have some camping, we can bring some rice and cooked it with the use of bamboo.
“Would you agree that we can survive in the forest using a bamboo?”

My family and I went to that jungle survival course in Subic, the former American base, a few years ago and there we learned many things we can do with bamboo including fire making and many others, I would advise people to look it up and maybe attend if they have the chance and means, it was a great experience

the bamboo, being the tallest grass, is a versatile one. just like the coconut where nothing is left useless, i think the bamboo is also a useful plant.

Could you really sip from bamboo trunks? Does the water taste different if you do that?

@Tierkreisze Actually, the lady is using a very slim bamboo stick and used as a straw.

Maybe for a day or two.
We can use bamboo as firewood, build a shaft shelter, cook our rice and meal through it, spear to snakes, wild boar, fish and we can use as stick when we are walking.

Hey, zipping the water from the bamboo trunks, I have tried that one when I joined Girls scout before.
