Kathy Griffin fired for offensive photo

Anderson Cooper will have to find another co-host for the CNN New Years Eve show. Griffin was fired by CNN after publishing a photo showing her holding a decapitated head of Trump. She has since apologized saying that she went too far and that it was disturbing and not funny. When is "funny" no longer funny?

she wasn't the first ... but I'm glad she was fired.. funny how when it happened to Obama no one cried foul....that I remember.

No one at CNN (or on social media) seems to remember all the horrible "photos" that came out during Obama's presidency.

It certainly wasn't funny and as @PainsOnSlate pointed out Obama is also the subject of a similar crude expression
