My Sister Had A Question

She asked if congress can Block Trump on pulling out of the Paris climate deal? I told her they could, but they won't. They are all controlled by Republicans.
She says, that should not matter if they have enough that disagree with the move. I told her most Republicans do not believe in protecting the climate. So, if they do block Trump it will be solely on financial reasons alone because that is all most of them care about.
Maybe some one should let them know the move will cost lots of jobs. Not to mentions squash many future business deals that will potentially fatten these Republicans wallets. Screw climate, sell these dodo brains on that.

He did, and wonder when he is going to do something that he will not regret. Everything he does comes back on him 10 fold and then he just blames his staff, or the media.

Trump seems to constantly weaken the position of US in the world. The only other countries out of the Paris agreement are Syria and Nicaragua
. Good thing for the EU which is ready to assume the leadership to apply the Paris agreement, but on a more long term view, the rest of the world will suffer of the position of the US becoming an environmental terrorist.

@crossbones27 I heard that he wants to apply non-binding parts as soon as today. I do not understand what he means. He cannot really withdraw, if he follows the agreement, before 2020, the next US election will not be far, and it really looks like a stupid move. I hope that he will not be your next president

@crossbones27 I hope that you will manage to get rid of him. He has been very violent in his speech, and he is isolating your country from the rest of the world. He is a disaster

Yeah, the move makes no sense anyway you look at it. Whether you agree or disagree with the merits just from a business standpoint. That is seriously some dictator crap right there. I do not think he thought about the ramifications this will have and all for what coal jobs so people can go back to getting black lung with his great healthcare plan that no one can afford or will not be covered.
I told people this stuff happens quick and it looks like we are on the path to not being a free country anymore.

It sure looks and sounds that way from what I have been reading. There does not even seem to be a silver lining in this horrible move.

They don't care because it makes rich white guys richer. That's their entire concern.
