We did it!

Back in March, my wife got so sick she ended up in the hospital. I mean, we knew she needed heart surgery, but she was just too weak to be at home until time for the surgery. The day she went to the ER she had piled all the stuff on the floor onto her bed so our guy friend, J, could mop in her room. Since then the laundry, things that came in from Amazon, and other stuff, got piled on her bed. So, today I decided, was the day we were going to clean it off. I went in and started a load of clothes, and then we proceeded to hang up, fold or otherwise put away the clothes on her bed. Once that was done, we sorted through all the boxes on her bed (5 of them) and I took them outside to be broken down and recycled at a later time. She went through the other stuff, gifts for her great niece and nephew, cookbooks, etc, while I unloaded and hung up/put away the clothes in the dryer. I still need to do a few things to get her completely moved out of the recliner in the front room and get a few more things settled back in her room. I just started another load of clothes after moving the first to the dryer. I haven't gotten dressed yet, since the most "outside" I've done is toss boxes out the door, and I'm kind of hoping I won't have to... hee hee! I mean, I've been up since 8 a.m. but mostly I've vegged in front of the computer. But I did put a couple'a hours on this, and she's thrilled. She should be going back to work on July 3rd. Unlike the 2 months she was off in the fall, getting the PD catheter in and the training, this hasn't been any fun at all. So, I know I haven't been around much, probably won't be either, but at least I'm not spending all my time wasting it on silly games.

She is going to have the PD nurse at the clinic look at it tomorrow after dialysis. I'm going to meet our guy friend, J, right after dropping her off for dialysis and we are going to see Wonder Woman!

Well due to my Health with having Fibromyalga, and now the issues with my health that put me in the hospital our house has become quite messy as well. I am not able to do much of anything right now myself but my husband was trying to get some stuff straightened around last night since I have to have Home health right now, etc so it makes it easier for everyone.

Sorry you ended up in the hospital. My wife actually ended up spending a couple'a days in the hospital before they discovered what was going on. They were pulling too much fluid out in dialysis and her blood pressure was going way too low, like 68/48

My wife did go back to work on July 3 and then needed another surgery - unexpected, but not emergency surgery - on the 21st. So, she's back in the recliner...

I slept for 4 hours, then had to get up to bring in the dogs, put the wife's eye drops in, take some of my own meds and then unwind again. But with all that, I got about 8-9 hours - 4 hours then about 5.

@ElicBxn You need to rest too, to take care of someone who is sick is very tiring.

I am too. Not that I had a problem with her being here in the room I use my computer in, but she knows I don't watch TV and felt bad because she does. That's been a part of it, if the TV is going, I can't think clearly enough to write anything...

You got a lot of stuff to do there El. Sorry to hear of your wife and all she went through with the heart. Nice to see you here anyway. Bless you both.

I look in from time to time, but I've been so distracted and tired that responding to other people's discussions can sometimes just be more than I can handle.

My wife takes a medicine to keep her from becoming too depressed. She is normally pretty optimistic about most things.
