Hey everyone. Hopefully we will get out of the house for a bit this weekend. I know we are going to church on Sunday, I can't wait for that. =) I'm hoping we can go to the park or something if it's not raining.
On Monday I have to double check the kids school work from the year, make sure pages weren't skipped, grade papers I missed and put the portfolio's together. It's a lot of work but worth it.
Do you have something that only gets done every few months?

I can relate with you. Next week is the opening of classes here in our country. We have a lot of people buying in our stories for school supplies. I hope the kids will remain excited going to school for the rest of the school year.

Sounds like alot of work homeschooling. My boyfriend was actually homeschooled by his mom from i think grade 5 up.
Hope you can do some outdoor stuff this weekend!

@Courtlynn It is work but I enjoy it. I wanted to be a teacher most of my life but I'm not good at taking tests so college wasn't for me.

I have to give the windows a once over. The winter months were rough on them. Even when I get them done I have to do them on the inside where the cats sit and poke their nose. They think they can go through the window lol.

Just that I go over my bills and mail I have gotten. Make sure I have everything I owe scheduled in to be paid at some point. And we have to do housing paperwork and have the walk throughs. That's about it.

Do you have to send all the schoolwork and papers somewhere for the kids to get credit? Or do you just have to hold on to it in case you get audited or something? I've always wondered how homeschool works.
