Goodbye Grandpa Pink.

Many of you commented on the post from yesterday where I mentioned that my step dad's father was in the hospital with sepsis and that he wasn't expected to make it very long. Well about an hour ago he died. It was peacful, and he was surrounded by his wife, both kids and his son in law. Which is how he would of wanted it. I don't know if he was coherant in his last day or not. I tried to call my step dad to tell him I was sorry, but since he was also his dad's lawyer he is up to his elbows in paperwork as well as grieving. I am sad that I didn't get to see him one more time before he died, but thankful that he died with his immediate family surrounding him. His name was William Clarence the second, (I left last names out, becuase of privacy)- but he went by Pete and all the nieces, nephews and the two grandkids he had (me and my cousin who is 9) called him Grandpa Pink, because one of the nieces coudln't say Pete when they were little. I have several good memories of him from when I was a little girl. I will try to post abou them later. Rest in Peace Grandpa Pink.
