I read a status post on Facebook yesterday by a male colleague that there will be no classes on the 26th to 28th of this month because it will be a Muslim celebration of the end of Ramadhan, called “Eid al-Fitr”.
I commented: “So we won’t have duty in those days?” The poster just liked my comment.
I think I am getting impatient because I am on standby mode. 3 long months is enough rest for me; and to think it will take less than a month for the orientation to take place.
Why is it that I tend and expect to ‘fast-forward’ the days, when I was able to stay put for 3 months? Do you have this attitude too?
“Waiting too long seems to be the hardest”.

no, in this case, the day i am waiting is to be given workload so i can resume my job handling students in the area.

that is so true. i can be on standby mode for a month or less, but 3 months is too long for ma to handle.

@ridingbet yes you are right. Even when i don't have anything to do i prefer to come here. At least i get to learn about new things and meet new people over here

@ridingbet Actually, my real plan is to try the online tutorial and be stable. Next, I will find a job in NGO. Then, I can work as part-time in online teaching. But I had changed my mind. I need to earn more before doing other jobs.

@Hannihar celebrating any Muslim holidays started maybe 2 decades ago here in my country. it is our way of acknowledging the Muslim holidays because there are many Muslims here.

i had a chat with the male colleague, and was informed that classes will start on July 10. when i asked if i have workload, he negated; all of us have no load as of yet because the plotting of duty is not yet finished.

that is true. with mylotting, i cannot feel that time passes by quickly, but when i see the big calendar at the door, i feel impatient again.

yes it is really fun to be here, and even earning with interacting. this morning, i watched the game 3 of NBA finals and i am happy because GSW won.
