~Yeah, Yeah I Worry For Nothing~

I might be worrying for nothing but he's the love of my life...so who wouldn't worry?? My husband's phone is not working and he had to go for an estimate today. He left here at 3:30 and it should only take 40 minutes to get there. The woman text my phone to see if he was still coming about 20 minutes ago. I know he should have been there by now...even if he hit traffic. I'm trying to keep calm but inside I want to cry. I just keep praying he's okay. I pray I'm worrying for nothing but having no way to contact him and his health lately I'm worried... Sorry if you think I'm over reacting but I can't help how I'm feeling.

Definitely not over reacting. I would be the same way. I actually am, until my mom texts saying shes at work now. Cause you just never know anymore, and one of my worse fears is the cops showing up saying something happened. I hope he is okay. And that you hear from him or the woman soon, about him being okay.

Hmmm... I am sure you have heard from your husband by now, right? (I am not good at ignoring a woman when they worry, especially when it seems to me that you might be worrying without cause. (Please notice how I wrote that and let me explain my reasoning.) You posted this discussion at 4:08 pm. You say your husband left your house at 3:30 pm. Uhhh... that means he hadn't had time to reach the shop, if it is a 40 minute drive from your house. (If he did hit some traffic, it would take him longer to get there, so you have started worrying without reason.) Now, what is wrong with his phone? (A phone is something I could help with, unless he dropped it into water or shattered it.) I do hope you've found out everything is okay with him by now.

@Daddyevil I actually posted this at 5pm. Not sure if Mylot matches up with my time, I guess not. Right now it's 6pm here. I still haven't heard anything. =( We couldn't afford the bill so his phone is shut off.

@Daddyevil I just heard from him. The truck over heated so he had to pull over for a bit. So glad he is fine.

@LovingMyBabies Okay, I forgot you lived in Florida. You are an hour ahead of myLot time and my time. You are in the Eastern time zone. myLot and I are both in the Central time zone. It is almost 7 pm now, for you and almost 6 pm for me and myLot. (Sorry about that!)

You are not overreacting at all. I would be the same way especially when you have no way of contacting him. Maybe he had car trouble. I do hope that he is okay. Please let us know when you hear from him.

I think it is normal for you to worry. He is your husband and you don't have a contact with him too. I hope that your husband is safe. May his health improve too.

No you are just reacting how anyone else would. I live in a difficult place so I need a mobile phone all the time. Been a very trying week for me on all levels too. Hope he is fine and reaches you soon.

It's very natural I worry when people in our household are not home when they should be, I think the only thing that makes it worst is you can't contact him, i pray everthing is just fine.

You are not over reacting. I would feel the same way. I love my husband a lot and worry about him, especially if his cell phone was not working.

I feel the same way when I call my son's phone and there is no answer. Before cellphones, people sure had a lot to worry about.

Not over reacting at all. Hope all is okay. Maybe he hit a place where there had been a traffic problem. I read clear down to the bottom and see where he had to stop for a bit. Thank goodness all is okay.

It's scary when you have no way of contacting a person and you want confirmation that they are alright. Hope for the best. Prepare your mind for the worse. This is real life. Anything can happen. It's better the reactions that you're having than for you to have no concerns at all. If he's the love of your life, I'd be rather surprised if you weren't freaking out! It's a normal reaction as far as I'm concerned. It won't kill you to fret! When he comes back home and you jump all over him with hugs and kisses, he'll wonder what it was he did and whether he can repeat the process. Who doesn't want their spouse to be excited and happy to see them when they walk through the door?
