I had my follow up check up last Wednesday. I went alone at 3pm because my son was not feeling well. I had my blood extracted for PTPA. I thought I can watch the afternoon series because the laboratory has a TV monitor. Bad though because I was the only one there so the TV was switched off.
I waited for an hour and when I got the result, I was so happy because the INR is within my normal range. (It should be 2-3).
I bragged to my doctor about my increase body weight, from 46 kgs (last year) to 54 kgs. I told him though that I wish to maintain the weight that is ideal for my height at 5 feet 2&3/4 inch tall.
Isn't it wonderful that our laboratory findings are normal? I wondered because I ate some dark green leafy vegetables and yet my result is normal.

@ridingbet I still never heard the official results from the autopsy.. but it possibly could have been some complications from his diabetes.

i ate some dark green leafy vegetables for quite sometime, but not much. i am able to regulate my intake. i like fruit vegetables like the bitter gourd, eggplant, okra, and others. when we eat sauteed mung beans with some leaves of moringa, i take some, but not all of what is cooked or served.

@cacay1 i cannot eat the vegetables you just mentioned because they may be high in vitamin K content.

indeed. there is an adage from my parents: that we can have all the riches in the world, but it is health that should come first, because for what will the riches be if you are sick?

Congratulations for being in good shape, my friend! 2 months ago I also had my general check up including prostate. Our family doctor, a smiling, pretty 40-something lady, assured me that I am in good shape after inserting her finger inside my butt.

that's great news. i think i miss something from your previous post/s, why the routine check up?
most of the time i show my happiness and i joke around with the lab people every time i get good results. they normally see me sad(or just not friendly) when i go in for test/s.
