Apartment Complexes--What could be done to improve yours?

I live in a nice apartment complex. Yet, if they wanted to improve it, people would need to curb their dogs, and clean up the cig butts. You have to smoke 20 feet away from any building. People do not follow that rule. The tenants need to be more sensitive to cleaning up after themselves. We also need more events. What about your apartment complex?

I live in a huge apartment complex. What I would like to improve - pet friendly. Other than that, I love it here. For the price, which is very low compared to the rest of Green Bay, I get a two bedroom apartment. In fact that is the only apartment size they have here. It's not small two bedroom either, but comfortable. The smallest would be the kitchen, but I've made it work for me.

I have a wonderful place that includes a garage, but it is very expensive. When my new lease is up, I think I will need to move into a one bedroom. My garage allows me to store items. It is supposed to be pet-friendly here. The people who complain about animals the most are pet owners. They complain about people who have pets, too. You would think we are getting away with something. I don't own a pet, but my boyfriend visits, and he has a dog. So you want it to be pet-friendly? Do you have dog?

@MsBooklover No. I can't. I had to put my dog down a year ago last January. She had aggressive cancer. It was the hardest thing I've done in a long time. This is a picture of her. Pip.

@just4him What a beautiful dog. I have had to do that, and it is very difficult. They bring a lot of happiness.

Same here..they act like freaking wilder beasts here.
That stinking smoking comes right up to me and the place is a filth hole with dog crap and butts.
The office does nothing about it.
Maintenance are lazy as all get out.
So yeah those two things, along with tenants leaving their trash bags outside their doors for days instead of taking them to the dumpster that is right here.

Is all they make me around here MsBooklover but I bite my tounge and don't snitch as neither of those things would be wise because of the ensuing retribution that would befall you here.

We have curb pick up on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but people will leave their bags out the day before. They are supposed to put it out no earlier than 6 AM the day of pick up.

@Nawsheen The bathroom might be worse. Nevertheless, she should not have to wait two days.

What a shame. I hope it wasn't the bathroom.
