Moslems who fast in Ramadan month should not eat and drink in the day time. But eating and drinking are not the only ones that Moslems shouldn't do. There are other prohibitions, which they should abide by:
- Not to tell lies
- Not to slander
- Not to talk about something bad about other people
- Not to grudge other people their wealth, success or achievement
- Not to sleep with their spouses during the day.
There are still other prohibitions, which are considered to be bad things Moslem should stay away from

Muslims are supposed to do good things to others. Fasting is required by God as per His instruction in the Holy Quran (QS:2/183) as follows: "O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous".
